Accessibility

This website is built to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the ADA and Section 508.

What we do

  • Semantic HTML with clear landmarks, headings, and a "skip to content" link.
  • Visible keyboard focus and full keyboard operability — no mouse required.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA for text and interactive elements.
  • Form fields with real labels, error messages tied to their inputs, and status announcements.
  • Meaningful alternative text on images and descriptive labels on icon controls.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" setting — animations are minimized when you ask your device to.
  • A responsive layout that works from small phones to large screens, and reflows without loss of content.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never "finished." We test with keyboard navigation and screen readers and fix issues as we find them.
